Hi and thanks for reading more about me!

My name is Jennifer Kaehms. I live in Austin, Texas.

My Story

I’m an angel investor and advisor passionate about supporting groundbreaking tech startups and businesses.

I currently serve as an angel investor and advisor to Tennr, where I’ve been helping them innovate since 2023.

I’ve also been an angel investor in Lambda since 2021, where I’ve backed their mission to provide on-demand NVIDIA GPUs for AI training and inference. They raised a $320M Series C and were named the 2024 NVIDIA Partner Network AI Excellence Partner of the Year.

Additionally, I’m an angel investor in Omneky, supporting their cutting-edge work since 2021.

From 2021 to 2023, I was a Partner at Foundation Capital, an early-stage venture firm with over $4B in commitments. There, I sourced seed investments in Sift AI and Tennr, and connected with a Texas-based LP, building on the firm’s legacy of backing leaders like Netflix and LendingClub.

Before that, I spent nearly two years at Forethought, first in operations and then as Head of Revenue Operations in 2020, scaling their AI-driven customer service platform during a $9M Series A raise.

Earlier in my career, I was an Investment Associate at Canvas Ventures from 2016 to 2018, where I sourced Luminar and worked with companies like Casetext and Vida Health in digital health and AI.

My journey started with hands-on experience, including internships at NASA Ames Research Center in 2009 and 2010, where I worked on biofuels and algae growth projects.

I am proud to have been named an Ann Craig Scholar, an honor awarded to just six students at UC San Diego for their outstanding service and scholarship.

I also had the privilege of serving as the Bioengineering Class Speaker at UC San Diego in 2014.

During my time there, I was actively involved in track, cross-country, and triathlon, which fueled my passion for both teamwork and personal growth.
